Just some boring numbers…

As we near the end of the year, I’ve started playing with my annual review of sales numbers. With two weeks remaining in the year here is how things stand as far as sales percentages go by scale.

sales by scale

In the Adjusted column, we see how things look if we turn the Custom work into scale numbers (most custom work was in 15mm).

The numbers are not final, but I expect things to remain mostly unchanged from a percentage standpoint.

After the year’s ends, I’ll post my annual sales by era and scale graphs – right now it is a close fight between WWII and Napoleonic for the top selling era. This might just be the year that Napoleonic sinks to the number two position…

See, I told you it would be boring.

USMC Organization Project Update

I’ve made some progress towards definition of USMC organization for use with the Flames of War rules. Or at least how I will organize my USMC forces for the game…

Anyhow, I thought I would share what I have so far. The PDF I’m publishing is far from complete and the text makes some assumptions, so it may not appear complete (well, it isn’t complete, it is just a snapshot).

Feel free to send in any comments you may have. When completed, we will publish the document on the website (in the Tutorials section) and printed copies will be included in the upcoming USMC company pack.

So, without further delay, click the following link for my current work in progress:

Resistant Roosters Listing Updates

We have started to update the Resistant Roosters figure listings…

We have begun to add the listings for single figures to the new RR pages. In addition to the singles we have listed the first of the smaller or team packs. The smaller packs are ideal for those of you who just need a few figures or just do not play Flames of War.

Next week Alison will start working on new photographs for the Resistant Roosters pages. The first step will be to ‘ink’ or otherwise enhance unpainted castings for the photography session. From there she will shoot photos, edit and post the results. I expect that this will take a couple of weeks – lots of figures and photos and editing and HTML code to generate.

My current photo project is the Bloodaxe line – I have a sizable backlog of figures to shoot, edit and post. I hope to work on this tomorrow and over the weekend, so we should see some new Bloodaxe photos online next week.

Quick Update…

It has been a busy time here. More due to weather than anythign else, but busy non-the-less.

In my last post, I forgot to mention our new Specials page. For now on all of our specials will be listed on a new page.
The page is Current Specials – you can find a link in the list on the right side of this page.

And now, back to the subject of weather. Weather may delay some shipping days on our end. The roads have been plenty dangerous of late, so Alison will be making fewer trips to town when the roads are snowy or icy. There have been many accidents very near here since Saturday, and a few of those have been fatal, so we are electing to stay safe – only going out when we need to (school, work, etc.). I don’t expect this to be a big hit on shipping, but just in case I thought I’d let you know that we might not ship everyday.
